Propagation

Here at Salt City Succulents we focus on plant health before plants go into your planters. Part of that is giving the plants adequate space to grow and get the nutrients they need before they enter the planters. When plants become over crowded in their environment it’s time to divide and conquer the succulents. Propagation with succulents is not nearly as difficult as one would think and in a weird way succulents remind me of natures photocopiers. Succulents just reproduce and reproduce.

Arrangements

Their are a variety of colors and textures that capture the viewers senses when owning a succulent planter. Three distinct categories are part of our focus here at Salt City Succulents – Planter Design, Color, and Texture. We choose plants that will accentuate the planter. This may require using complimentary or contrasting colors to build the arrangement. Concrete planters can have a variety of textures. They can range from refined and smooth to gritty and rough. Using all three of these aspects; planter design, color, and texture gives us  endless opportunities to produce a one of a kind succulent arrangement.

Mold making and Casting

We create and design, our original forms in Holladay, Utah. The concrete planters are manufactured from initial concept to actual product in Utah. This process is fun and challenging. It gives us a way to creatively produce more than one form with each mold design. This allows us to pour a variety of colors into the mold and create unique one off designs that would be hard to duplicate, making each piece unique to the owner.
